A message from Josie Hadley MA MCIM

"When I work in a consultative role, I become as passionate about your business as if it were my own.  After running several successful businesses, I not only have the experience but the appreciation of how difficult it can be to juggle so many differing demands.  I aim to take away the pain of marketing to allow you time to concentrate on the business.

I take a very pragmatic approach and offer objective and informed advice and support.  As someone from outside the organisation and without being personally invested in the politics and personalities within, I can be honest and point out what sometimes business owners may not have noticed or appreciated.  I won't change what isn't broken but will look to enhance it.

I have over 30 years work experience in various industries and positions. I have established and run several successful companies and have worked for several multi-nationals, such as Willis Corroon Group, BT, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and more locally, In-Comm Training.

As OMG!, I have worked with the University of Wolverhampton Students Union, eBay, Natwest, Black Country Chamber of Commerce, City of Wolverhampton Council and University of Wolverhampton.

I am a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing as well as being CIPD qualified.  I am continually updating my professional development and skills to ensure I am fully abreast of current trends and platform demands."

If you don’t have a dedicated marketing team, you may find that you are neglecting the one thing that can get your more business. Alternatively, your in-house team may need an additional pair of hands to help with a one off project or campaign. OMG! is happy to become part of your team and work with you as you need. We can work with you to develop or refresh your marketing strategy, or review or build your marketing plans and then on a tactical level.

Working firstly at a strategic level, we work together to analyse who you are, who your key audiences are and making sure that you are creating the right consistent and professional impression at all times.  We look at your branding and logos and if required, work with expert graphic design agencies to ensure that you are maximising your branding opportunities.

Strategic marketing involves defining your clear objectives and your KPIs to build and create a sustainable competitive advantage which enable future profitable growth for the business.  It is a long-term view and is the basis from where all your marketing decisions will be made.

Once this has been signed off, it become the structure for all your marketing moving forward – your tone of voice, your vision and values and your aspirations.

The development of the marketing plan comes from this and breaks down further how the strategy will be implemented.  This is a more flexible document and can be adapted to external and internal changes but remains true to the strategy.  The plan also takes into consideration your financial, time and resource limitations and develops realistic processes and budgets for maximum ROMI.

Tactical marketing involves implementing what has been agreed in the marketing strategy and plan to ensure your company achieves its marketing goals. This can involve performing individual marketing activities such as creating social media campaigns, liaising with graphic and web designers to create off and offline campaigns, email marketing and hosting or attending events.
